If you know of a family in the Niagara area with kids off school this week due to the NCDSB teacher lockout, please help spread the word about an art party that I'm hosting this Thursday afternoon from 12-3, along with Melissa who teaches summer camps with me. All elementary kids are invited, and it's just a $5 donation to the Fort Erie Arts Council. Trust me, it will be a lot more fun than playing video games all day.

Here's one of my latest paintings that I wanted to share with you today.
With just a touch, the woman with the issue of blood was healed in Luke 8:43-48. I began the painting with this story in mind, and added the dove as a symbol of the Holy Spirit, and the broken glass in the foreground, to show that Jesus has broken the barrier between us and God, allowing us to come right into his presence and be healed.

March Break Art Camp is fast approaching! The fun and craziness runs from 9-3 on Wednesday March 15 to Friday March 17th, for ages 5-13, at Central Ave. Fire Station in Fort Erie. $100 includes art materials. Please sign up on the sooner side, as space is limited.
