Art show and live painting this weekend in Fort Erie!

"Given to Us"

20x16" oil and acrylic on canvas

50% of proceeds from the sale of this painting will go directly to South Niagara Life Centre. This piece began as a plein air acrylic painting at their Walk and Roll Fundraiser in September  at Sugarbowl Park in Fort Erie. I then completed the landscape and added the dove in oil later in studio.

"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." Romans 5:5

Be Kind to One Another 1000 Acts of Kindness hospital campaign window graphics

I spent the day at the paediatrics ward at the hospital in St. Catharines painting this logo on the playroom windows as a background for the 1000 acts of kindness stickers, to make note of kind acts by patients, visitors and staff this fall. I love being able to help create an environment that celebrates such positive things! A small act of kindness will truly make a difference in a person's life, improving their attitude which affects their overall health.

Fort Erie Welcome Sign Proposal Illustrations Presented at Town Council Meeting

At the Fort Erie Town Council meeting tonight, I was honoured to be in attendance and help present some ideas for welcome sign/sculptures at each of the Fort Erie highway exits off the QEW. It is exciting to be able to take someone's ideas and create a visual that will hopefully inspire many people to get behind a concept. The hope is that these signs will entice more visitors to explore our amazing area, and benefit our local economy.

These ink and watercolour illustrations are just my artistic renderings and not at all to scale, but it would be exciting to see one or all of them be built someday!
