"When one door closes, another opens. But often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has opened for us." -Helen Keller

The crowd is still looking at the cage door which closed a while ago. The majority don't notice the one which has quietly opened behind them. They also don't notice the enemy cat that has been waiting beneath that previously open door, waiting for them!

We often dwell too long on the past wishing for what we had, or wishing for those lost opportunities to open back up for us, not realizing that wouldn't have been the best thing for us now.

The one bird has turned his head to notice the open door. He can now see the light, growth and new

life ahead of him if he travels through it, but he must be willing to leave that closed door and his friends behind.
