This original painting on canvas is about the way that life beats at us carves us into something beautiful, much like how a rough stone gets tossed around the ocean until it is smooth as glass. Psalm 66 talks about how God refines us by allowing us to go through trials, burdens, and tests. "Praise our God, all peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard; he has preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping. For you, God, tested us; you refined us like silver. You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs. You let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance." (Psalm 66:8-12)
This painting is on 2" deep canvas with a wire on the back so it can hang as it is without framing.
