"For I am the Lord your God
    who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
    I will help you."

 -Isaiah 41:13

I started this piece as a still life study of a house plant, adding a city skyline below it to represent growth or life coming from the city. To bring more humanity to the painting, and to show a closeness between us and Father God, I added the child and adult hand. I believe that God leads us continually towards growth, guiding us through difficult times within his plan and timing.
