A silhouette sower tosses spiritual seeds while walking along a golden path towards the sun. In the foreground, three birds eat the seeds, while some seeds sprout up in the fields along the path. The Parable of the Sower was a story Jesus told about how people respond to his teachings. (Matthew 13 in the New Testament.) The curtains or veil hanging along the left and right may be there to show that the word of God is sometimes only partially or slowly revealed to us.
